Community Projects

The word community involvement goes hand and hand with SAM Tree Service of Dawsonville.

SAM provides high angle billboard sign installation for Dawson Family Connection, a local nonprofit. They do a lot of great thing for those in need in the community. SAM is proud to help.

SAM donates firewood to families in need through several regional nonprofits.

SAM regular donates wood mulch to local parks and civic organizations.

SAM has donated the use of its labor force in past Emergency Management Service storm cleanups and search and rescue operations.

SAM also has provided free Tree Hazard Assessments for Downtown Historical Gainesville

SAM President Tim Costley speaks as a Certified Arborist at local schools and civic meeting on topics such as Arboriculture Careers. He also speaks host seminars concerning local tree related problems (ie. draught, Pine Beatle infestation, Sudden Oak Death, Hemlock Wooly Adelgid, etc.) Schools and groups also ask Tim to speak about how to classes on tree care.

Tim Costley as a side note even guest lectures in schools about the game of chess. One of his favorite hobbies.
